About

Gaffa tape is handy

Say it out loud and you get the name. It turned up at the very first rehearsal, in 2015, when three music students at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds decided they wanted the same band.

A first EP, Spring Killing, took them to the BBC Music Introducing stage at Glastonbury in 2017 and into the NME 100 the following year. They signed to Alcopop! Records for Family Mammal in 2019 and released their debut album, Hold My Hand, God Damn It, in May 2024.

Asked by NME what they sound like, they said: “Honey badgers play-fighting over a field of bubble-wrap.”
